Whoop de whoop, lemming fulfilled.

I took a bottle shot. OMG. I swear I did, but the camera is at an undisclosed location and I don't relaly feel like going and sweeping the house for it. So. You'll just have to settle for these.

EDIT: Found it.

Tah-dah. All better now.

Two coats, great formula. I was watching the French Open while I was doing this so I was a little distracted, and I was happy about how little cleanup I had to do! R-Fedz put up a good fight but R-Nadz got the best of him. Wow, I just realized how that last nickname sounded. I apologize, adoring public. Not what I intended.

Anyway, I sifted through my collection of polishes and found all the layering possibilities I thought I'd like. Click to make the picture biiig.

Ignore the numbers, I'll do it left to right.

A silver unnamed Claire's polish
Milani Pool Party
Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle Precious Pearl
An unnamed Sally Girl gold glitter
An unnamed Sally Girl silver glitter
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Disco Ball
CG Boundless Color Amethyst Mist

Not the best photo quality, but that's all I could do. I really liked the looks of Precious Pearl so I slapped two coats on top of Mermaid's Tears.

Ahhh. That's good stuff. Like it?

  1. Okay, you are going to have to help your confuzzled friend...

On the color wheel you just added these other polishes to Mermaids Tears?
And how do you mix two colors like that?

Also, I like the colors of #6 and the very last 2 pics!!! :)

  2. I didn't mix them, I just layered them on top. It's easier that way. :) Frankening would be actually mixing the polishes, which I plan to do some of this summer because I'm on a no-buy.

  3. Love the layering wheel! What a great idea to do with a favorite polish. I never gave a second glace to Precious Pearl but it's really pretty over MT.

  4. I really like the stuff on the wheel that looks like robins eggs. Man, you should DO that.
And the Mermaid's Tail looks really pretty!

  5. @KarenD: I just got these nail wheels and they're so handy! I love them. I was disappointed with Precious Pearl because of its sheerness but there's always a silver lining!

@Sonia: Tears, not Tail, silly billy. And I could always do the robin's egg one for youuu! I constantly have the urge to do people's nails, and there aren't enough of them around my house!
