Untrieds Month: SHXW Caribbean Coral + OPI ILLY
Now that I have finished up a rousing round of Asian polishes, what say you we move into a new leg of this journey: Sally Hansen. In fact, I am smashing not one, but TWO untrieds today. On with the post!
Today I'll be using: OPI I Lily Love You and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Caribbean Coral
I started with two coats of Caribbean Coral. This is under lamplight.
Caribbean Coral is a red-toned coral with some hidden shimmer that's not visible in most light. Sorry, this is the only shot of it that I have for you!
Next I smacked OPI I Lily Love You on top.
lamp. It's slightly blurry but kind of cool looking.
I Lily Love You has a pink jelly base that is quite sheer, so it is best when layered. I did two thin coats of ILLY just so that it was jam packed with flakie/glitter goodness.
There's a little bit of everything in ILLY. You've got big flakies, small flakies, lots of square glitter, and if I'm not mistaken some smaller, irregular shaped glitter. The glitter reflects different colors: yellow, pink, blue. All in all it's a very unique polish and I love it! I have absolutely nothing like it.
I've also heard that ILLY will really blow your face off when layered over darker colors, so I'll have to try that and show you guys how it goes!
EDIT: Since so many of you have asked where to find ILLY, let me tell you: Check your Kroger! That's where I got mine. ILLY was part of the Nice Stems collection, which was a July LE so you probably won't have much looking looking at Ulta. Grocery stores are a lot less on top of getting new collections out, so I suggest you check them!
