Sinful Dream On

**Blah blah blah contest/giveaway blah blah blah. You get the point, right?**

You might know my lovely friend Meg from the comments she leaves. Well, she recently gave me a very, very, very, very, very belated birthday present:

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Grape Going, Essie Little Brown Dress, Sinful Colors Dream On, Revlon Emerald City, Essie Midnight Cami, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Co-Bolt Blue

So thank you, Meg! Meg likes bright colors and wanted me to wear this one first, so that's what I'm doing.

Sinful Colors Dream On

2 coats. Mmmm. Juicy, eh? Like a... squishy... ball... of juice. Like Jell-O? It reminds me of when we used to go to Luby's and I would always get red Jell-O. I don't like any other flavor of Jell-O. Just red. And I would always get fried okra too. I like fried okra. People think that's weird. It's good, though.

Aaaanyway, this is a fabulous color. I thought it was going to be super sheer since it's almost neon, but it was actually super opaque! It's that cremey jelly type finish that is super awesome. You get the juicy, squishiness of a jelly but with no VNL. Amazing.

Dream On generally looks like fuchsia, but sometimes it looks more pink and sometimes it looks more purple. It is always bright. Much brighter than it looks in these pictures. Aaalmost neon. Like, you're at a rave, but you're wearing slightly tinted sunglasses. Like that.

The formula was wonderful and smooth. It just makes me mad that if Sinful can make great colors with nice formulas for $1.99, why the heck are we paying $25 for Chanels? Crazy world, people.

Oh, I almost forgot!

Don't tell me this didn't pop in your head when you saw the title, because I won't believe you.

  1. That is a really pretty color and one I don't have. I love Sinful Colors and for the price, you have to love them more. I have on SC Beautiful Girl right now.

  2. That'd be me! (:

I sorry it was 5 verys late but in my defense I thought you were going to celebrate your party (like a normal person) so I was waiting but then no u didnt. So i decided it was better late than never ;P

I liked this color the best... even though it wasnt on the want list! :D

  3. Wow. I just heard this song today. Weird! Love the polish! Supaa bright!

  4. I don't think I've seen this one before- it looks good on you. I can't wait to see that first purple Sally Hansen; it caught my eye at the store today!

  5. I love fried okra! I also love that song! That's a great birthday haul too. I like Sinful Colors polishes a lot. I own quite a few, but not that one! It's on my list now!

  6. The best Aerosmith song bar none, imo. It's actually up there in my favorite classic songs of all time :P I've never tried any Sinful's, I've never had easy access to them. This one reminds me of Wet n Wild's Fuschiarama though Dream On may be a bit more pink.

  7. Looks way better on than it translated in the bottle. I really like it on you. Oh and BTW, a very belated happy b'day!

  8. I like this one a ton!! ......OMG! just checked my stash and i have it!! yayayayayayay gonna post this later today because of your post!! Thanks!!<3

  11. I love Aeurosmith and yes, that right when I saw the title, the song started playing in my head. :D

  12. What a great (belated) birthday gift! I own 'Dream On' and I love your description of the colour. I might have to borrow it sometime if I post a mani using that colour. One last thing, I definitely thought of the Aerosmith song. ;)

  13. I LOVE that polish! I pass it by every time I see it, so now I might actually pick it up.

    Awesome song choice ;)

  14. @Meg: Good present! I don't care that it's late because it's awesome.

    @Emily: It's coming up tonight!

@Meeka: I looove classic rock! Such an awesome song. I hate to say this, but Glee did it really great too!

@JeeZ TrendZ: You're welcome! I'm glad I helped you discover it!

@Fingers: I've already tried them (my posts are slightly delayed) and they're great! She certainly knows what to get me lol.

@A Polished Touch: Feel free to borrow it! I'm happy to be of help.

@Desiree: It's really bright and fun. An awesome summer color but I'd wear it year round.

  15. I only like green jell-o :D Jelly polishes have been my new love recently, even though I only :D

  16. Is it just me or does it kinda look like a gradient? :P
