Untrieds Month: Butter London No More Waity Katie
The last Butter London polish I have to show you is an interesting one that you've probably heard a lot about, called No More Waity Katie (yes I forgot the bottle shot jeez)
(and yes these pictures are all under the lamp because I'm lazy and I forgot to take pictures before it was too dark DON'T JUDGE ME)
2 coats. No More Waity Katie is a very unique polish. She has a smoky, slightly brown-tinged grey base with a ton of lavender glitter. After the first coat, it looked pretty disgusting, and I did not have high hopes. It was sheer and blechy and pretty much NOT AWESOME. But lo, with the second coat, all was well! I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, to be honest, but I am glad to say I think it's working for me!
The formula was less than desirable, though not as bad as I'd heard it was. Slightly gluey, yes, but nothing a little thinner couldn't help.
So, a pleasant surprise today! What polishes have surprised you?
It looks so nice! I need to find a dupe or something, I want this color! :D
ReplyDeleteI like the purple look to it. Even under a lamp it looks really good on you!
ReplyDeleteAm not a fan of butter London or this color! Am surprised at I found a glitter I want to try! Lynderella connect the dots. It's unthinkable but true!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice! Not my fave color, I wish they put more uniquely colored glitter in it that would've made it more fun. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great on you! If I only posted when I could take pics in natural light, I wouldn't have a blog. :)
ReplyDeleteThis one also sucked me in with all the hype about it. When I got it, had the same reaction - odd color, rough, rough finish that I hate, then on top of that, mine is really sticky and tacky like it has glue in the mix - not easy to spread on the nail even after adding a few drops of thinner. It's in my trade bin.
ReplyDeletePossibly not my favorite color, either, and I really think the name is silly. Oh well. It does look good on you!
ReplyDelete@little miss polish: I think it's a nice color! I was on the fence about it but I think it won me over.
ReplyDelete@Sandra: Good luck, it's very unique!
@Fingers: Connect the Dots is gorgeous! Lynnderella makes some beautiful polish.
@Vintage: I'm not sure what other color they could have put in it, but that sounds exciting LOL.
@KarenD: This is true! The sun doesn't like to play nice.
@beachgal: Luckily I was able to work with the formula, but it could definitely use some thinner. I think I like the color enough to keep it.
@Larie: The name is a bit silly, and thanks!
I just adore this color!
