Today's guest blogger is a wonderful lady by the name of Samantha who works over at Gnomes and Nail Polish. She's relatively green to the blogging world, but I think she shows a lot of promise and she is wildly entertaining! Without further ado, I will turn the reins over to Samantha.

"When Laura asked me to be a guest blogger for her I was elated. I felt like someone had baked an entire pecan pie just for me and handed me a fork. Laura’s blog was one of the first I really started stalking, I mean following. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to emerge from the shadows and join the whole blogger universe, and Laura was one of the first to welcome me. I have been officially yapping about my own nail polish shenanigans on the internet for a few months now, and I am really loving everything about it. I especially get excited when I see a new dot on my little visitor map. My husband will be in the living room watching whatever the hell he watches and I will just bust in there like the Kool-Aid Man and start screeching about how, “OMG, BABY!!!! I got a visitor from Africa today!!!!!” (runs around in circles in front of the TV giggling like a lunatic).

Well, I figured for my first guest blogger appearance I needed to do something special. I remember emailing Laura to ask her if she thought my blog looked legit or not, and she had mentioned she loved this post. I got this particular Missha polish because I figured they were dupes, so I knew this would be perfect for my guest post.

Missha HGR01 is a stunning green/turquoise metallic duochrome with a delightful rose scent. It is a Korean polish I ordered on eBay for a pretty reasonable price.

So today I have another amazing polish for you, one that's full of magical fairy dust and happiness.

Ozotic 505

Sorry for the gigantic picspam, but come on. Can you blame me? The many faces of Ozotic 505 are all equally beautiful, although I am slightly partial to her turquoise side. Her fuchsia and purple personalities are also visible at most times, and at certain angles in certain lights, a sort of amber color comes out.

I really have no words for how glorious this is. I'm preeeetty sure this is two coats over WnW Black Creme, but it could be just one. She's absolutely glorious. The queen of nail polish. Seriously, she will rule over polish land and the world will be lovely and happy and full of multichrome goodness.

Do you have Ozotic 505? If not, you really should get it.

And sadly, a dream it will remain. No chance of snow down here in Houston, sadly. We did have actually for realz snow two years ago, but I doubt it will happen again any time soon.

Anyway, to drown my sorrows of living in a snow-less land, I decided to do a snowy manicure. I started with two coats of Love & Beauty Royal

I scrounged this one out of the polish bins at Forever 21 (who is trying to look all shwanky with their new logo, XXI, like Roman numerals makes them more sophisticated. Psh.) pretty much unscathed, although the other two I grabbed I had to wipe down with acetone. Anyway, it is super pretty, it's got a murky teal base full of duochrome glitter flecks that turn from blue to purple. It's pretty awesome, but since I was pining for snow I decided to stamp over it.

Okay, in all honesty, when I first saw this stamp I thought it was a wheel. You know, like a ship's steering wheel. Is there a certain name for that? I'm pretty sure it's not called a "steering wheel," it must be something more classy. Anyway, after seeing other people use the stamp on the interwebz I realized it was a snowflake. Oops, my bad. After I stamped the snowflakes on, I slapped on a layer of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Diamonds because really, what does glitter not improve? (hint: NOTHING)

I like how this one turned out, it's pretty. It's not WOW but I'm saving that for Christmas day, so hold on to your tacky sweaters, kiddos.

And in the same vein as yesterday's post, I have another Halloween-y polish for you today.

Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Black Magic

So I've seen three versions of Black Magic: this one, the black base with shimmer, a plain black creme, and a bar glitter from last year's Fantasy Makers.

Only lamp shots of this one for you today, because I layered over it! But first I'll talk about Black Magic by itself. It's a black base with silver and orange shimmer. It's quite pretty in the bottle but on the nail it's not as noticeable. This was two coats.

The formula was good, very opaque and it's a nice, vampy color for Halloween. I also love the tombstone bottle, that's too adorable.

Buut it was a little too dark and I'm not quite ready to fully jump into fall, so I put Orly Space Cadet over it. Here are my first pictures of Space Cadet which aren't layered over anything, so you can see the green base. I thought layering it over something darker would bring out the duochrome better.

Does the sun hate me or what? It's kind of ridiculous that it always seems to disappear when I need to take manicure pictures. Ah well, one coat of Space Cadet and the glorious duochrome goodness came out to play! I love this color, it's so unique. Sorry for the smudges on my index finger, I'm not sure what happened there. 0.o

Also I'm totally getting stuck in a rut. Sorry for all the boring swatches lately but I am SUPER busy right now and I don't expect things to settle down for another week, at the least. So bear with me, I'll try to do more nail art whenever I have time, and Naomi has been giving me tons of crazy awesome ideas that I want to try! So hopefully I'll be able to do some of that soon.

Oh my JEESUS there's a freaking RAINBOW in there!

Oh and I'm just gonna say... you should DEFINITELY click on every single one of these. The cleanup is not the best (I used Essie Midnight Cami as underwear and she staaains) but it's worth it.

*passes out* Are you seeing this? That is TO DIE FOR. SO beautiful. Linnea is a sheer greenish base with beautiful orange-to-green flakies and smaller green flecks and a kind of overall shimmer effect.

The formula was amazing, I loved the brush, it wasn't like the OPI pro-wide brush or anything but it was really thick and picked up the perfect amount of polish. I love this so much.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

This is by far the most unique polish I own... I cannot get over how absolutely stunning she is!
