Untrieds Month: Butter London Lady Muck

All right, I'm a little hyped up on cough meds right now so if this post is weird I apologize in advance. Today I will be featuring another pseudo-British polish.

Butter London Lady Muck

2 coats. Lady Muck is a very light, sea spray blue color. It's grey-blue. Grue? Bley? Grooblay. Anyway, she has a nice allover silver shimmer that is very pretty and makes for an extremely flattering color on the whole.

The formula was nice, for some reason I don't really like Butter London's formula even though it's not difficult or anything. Something about the way it flows, I think. Oh well. Anyway, Lady Muck was a little boring on her own so I added OPI Spark de Triomphe on top.

So that solved that problem! Did I ever show you guys the Grape Set Match/Spark de Triomphe duo? I don't remember if I ever got around to it. Anyway, the sparkles were nice but the removal was not. C'est la vie!

    Oooo that looks pretty with SDT, I just swatched this too, what a coincidence, and I also added glitter (will post next week). I like think I like Bley better =]

    Looks great with Sparke de....over it. I feel the exact same way about Butter London. It's been really hit or miss - the formula - or the way the color did not translate from the bottle to the nail like I thought - hype sells me sometimes and folks were going nuts over this or that shade, I would get it and be sort of meah. All in all something just is not sitting right with me about Butter London. Like my last post said, I think I will probably only have a few of them in my stash. I expect far more from that price point.

    This look nice. Have you tried the foil method for removing glitter? It works wonders.

    It was pretty before the sparkles. But i love it even more with the sparkles!

    Totally grooblay. Also for some reason this colour on its own reminds me of the Smurfs... No idea why. XD

    @beachgal: I do think they are too high priced but gosh they have such gorgeous colors!

    @greeneyespinknails: Yep, that's what I used to remove this! I hate the foil method because you can't do anything with your hands, but it's better than scrubbing for hours.

    Hm, I've never quite been tempted by Butter London yet. The colors are nice but not...remarkable? Perhaps it's because I don't have one. I don't know.
