Day 8: Metallic

**Two days leeeeft! Enter the contest/giveaway now!**

I usually don't wear metallics. I don't know why, they're just not really my thing. I never feel the urge to wear them. Buuuut I'm the one who got myself into this mess so now I just have to do it.

The only real metallic I have is Nina Ultra Pro Smoke-N-Mirrors

I think the flash was on in this one, which is why it looks a little weird. It's in the sun.

2 coats. Did you click on the sun pictures like you should have? No? Well go back up and do it. It's so awesome in the sun! In the shade and inside it's kinda "meh" but in the sun it has this awesome shimmer that look like threads of magic running through it. MAGIC.

The formula was nice, although you can tell I didn't do any cleanup. Foo. I'm trying! Usually I can get my left hand decent but my right hand is... well.

Hey... it's not that bad...

But this is much better than yesterday's fiasco! So sometimes trying something new pays off. Just not with drugs, kids! Stay away from all drugs, new or not!

  1. It's gorgeous in the sun!!! I know what you mean about metallics. I never feel compelled to wear them. My application always seems to get messed up and I feel like I can see every imperfection on my nails. I think I want to try this one though, because it seems a lot prettier than the metallics I own!

  2. The sun pictures ARE magic! I think you should reconsider your lack of metallic polishes. Houdini could show up next. ;)

  5. I love some metallics-as long as they don't morph into frost land-then it's a streaky mess! Can't say i'm loving this color-too frosty for me!

  6. It looks amazing on you. I wear metallics a lot - long as they don't end up showing brush strokes from bad formulations. It took me time to appreciate them since I lived through the 'bad times' when it was frost, frost, pearl, and more frost polishes & they did not have metallics at all not the frosts perfected. What's out there today is amazing compared to where it has been.

  8. @Olivia: It's pretty nice, although I think I might like colorful metallics better.

    @Meg: Godspeed!

    @Larie: We need to get you some more polish, girl!

    @Fingers: *small voice* I kind of like the frostiness. *ducks*

    @beachgal: Thanks! I think metallics are nice on other people, but they really don't do anything for me.

    @Naomi: I'm going to make one right now. No, seriously, like RIGHT NOW.
